OFF2000: Cannot Use Answer Wizard or Index in Help for OSB

SYMPTOMS

When you are using the help provided with the Microsoft Office Shortcut bar, you are unable to type anything in the Answer Wizard or the Index portions of help.


WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, use either of the following methods.

Method 1

  1. Right-click the title bar of the Microsoft Office Shortcut Bar.


  2. Click Contents and Index.


  3. In the Help dialog box, click the the Contents tab.


  4. In the left pane, click the help you need in the tree control.


Method 2

Search the Microsoft Knowledge Base, which is available at the following World Wide Web site:
http://support.microsoft.com/support


STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
