OFF2000: Error Message "Cannot find the Help file PSS9.HLP."

ERROR MESSAGE

When you click Tech Support, in the About dialog box you receive the following error message:

Cannot find the Help file PSS9.hlp.

CAUSE

Office does not install a file named Pss9.hlp.

WHAT TO TRY

Search for Pss9.chm

The help file that contains information about obtaining product support is named Pss9.chm. If you installed Office to the default location, the file will be located at:


   C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office\1033\Pss9.chm
