OFF2000: Hyperlinks Do Not Use Browser-Defined ColorsID: Q199738
|
In Office, hyperlink colors do not match the colors that you define for a hyperlink or a followed hyperlink in the default Internet browser on your computer.
Office programs use their own color scheme for hyperlinks. This
color scheme may differ from the hyperlink color scheme that you define for
the default Internet browser on your computer. In Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word, the default color for a hyperlink is blue and the followed hyperlink color is violet. In Microsoft PowerPoint, the default color for a hyperlink is ice blue and the followed hyperlink color is light gray.
NOTE: You can create a different hyperlink color scheme for each
Office program.
To work around this behavior, set the hyperlink and/or followed hyperlink color scheme in each of the Office programs.
For more information about style settings, click Microsoft product Help on the
Help menu, type "Specify formats for a style" in the Office Assistant or the Answer Wizard,
and then click Search to view the topic.
