When you copy multiple items in any of the Microsoft Office programs, the Office Clipboard will appear allowing you to collect and paste multiple items stored in the toolbar. For example, you can copy a chart in Microsoft Excel, switch to Microsoft Word, copy text, and then switch to Microsoft PowerPoint and paste all of the collected (cut or copied) items from the Office Clipboard.
The Office Clipboard automatically appears and collects items when you do any of the following:
It is possible to prevent the Clipboard toolbar from automatically appearing when you use multiple Copy commands in an Office program. You can manually show the Clipboard toolbar by pointing to Toolbars on the View menu and clicking Clipboard.

Regedt32.exe. Note that you should back up the registry before you edit it.
If you are running Windows NT, you should also update your Emergency
Repair Disk (ERD).
When you add the following registry key, it will prevent the Office toolbar from automatically appearing when you perform multiple Copy commands in any of the Office programs. To add the AcbControl registry key, follow these steps:
