CAUSE

-and-
- You used the MST file to install Office on your computer.

-and-
- You chose to keep one or more of the earlier Office programs in the Remove Previous Versions dialog box.

To prevent this problem, you must specify a different installation location for Office 2000 in your MST file. To do this, follow these steps:
- Start the Custom Installation Wizard.
- Click Next in the Welcome to the Custom Installation Wizard dialog box.
- Click Browse in the Open the MSI File dialog box. Select the Data1.msi file on your Microsoft Office 2000 CD-ROM and then click Open. Click Next.
- Click Open an existing MST file in the Open the MST File dialog box. Type the path to your MST file in the Name and path of MST file to open, and then click Next.
- Change the installation path shown in Default installation path.
- Click Finish.
The next time that you use this transform with Office Setup, the Office programs that you chose to keep in step 6 of the Custom Installation Wizard will not be removed.
