When you select a grid pattern format, the results may print larger than
expected.
NOTE: This behavior occurs in Microsoft Excel, with objects in Microsoft
PowerPoint, and with drawing objects or inserted tables in Microsoft Word.
This may occur if you set the print quality to 75 Dots Per Inch (DPI) and apply a grid pattern format.
To work around this problem, increase the print quality to 100 DPI or
higher.
For example, in Microsoft Excel 97 running on Microsoft Windows 95 with a
Hewlett Packard LaserJet 3si set as your default printer, you can change
the print quality DPI by following these steps:
