OL97: Changes Made to a Post Form Are Not Saved Unless Published

SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Outlook 97, clicking Save on the File menu of a Post form does not save any changes made to the current post or the form itself. All other forms, Messages, Appointments, Tasks, and such save the changes as expected.

RESOLUTION

To save any changes you make to a Post form you must publish the form to the Personal Forms Library, Outlook Folders or another folder.

To Save Changes to a Post Form

1. On the File menu of the modified form click Publish Form As.

2. Type a name for the form and click Publish In.

3. Click to select the Library or folder into which you wish to save

   the form.
