OL97: Fax Sent as E-mail with Delrina Winfax

SYMPTOMS

When sending a fax from Microsoft Outlook 97 using Delrina Winfax, it tries to send the fax as an e-mail message. It tries to dial your Internet Service Provider (ISP), but fails and an "Undeliverable" message is returned by the system administrator.

CAUSE

There is an older version of Delrina Winfax installed on the computer,

-or-

the Delrina Manager is running in the background.

RESOLUTION

Contact Symantec and upgrade to Winfax version 8.01 or later.
Disable the Delrina Manager.
