OL97: Shorthand Date Gives Warning Message in Flag EntryID: Q221080

If you enter a shorthand date value greater than 12 into the Due by field of a message flag, you will receive the following warning message:
You must specify a valid date and time. Check that what you typed is both a valid date and a valid time, and make any necessary corrections.
Enter a valid date and time.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
When you enter a shorthand date value between 1 and 31 into the Due by field of a message flag, it should resolve to that day of the current month. However, if you enter any value greater than 12, you will receive the warning message describe in this article.
