SYMPTOMS
Meeting requests sent from Microsoft Outlook using the MS Outlook
Support for Lotus cc:Mail transport may not have the Accept, Decline, and
Tentative buttons available. Instead, the recipient receives a plain e-mail
message.
This is also true for voting buttons and Net Folder subscription messages.
CAUSE
The cc:Mail transport is set to send messages in text-only format.
RESOLUTION
Change the cc:Mail transport to send messages in Rich Text Format (RTF).
Change the MS Outlook Support for Lotus cc:Mail Transport to RTF
- On the Tools menu, click Services.
- Click to select MS Outlook Support for Lotus cc:Mail and then click
Properties.
- On the Delivery tab, click to select "Send using Microsoft Exchange rich
text format." This attaches a Transport-Neutral Encapsulation Format
(TNEF) file with outgoing messages.
Meeting request messages will now have Accept, Decline, and Tentative
buttons.
