OL98: (CW) Unexpected Line Breaks with Reply Ticking EnabledID: Q185938
|
When you reply to or forward a message received via the Internet using the Internet E-mail service in Microsoft Outlook 98, and have reply ticking enabled, the line breaks do not remain the same as in the original message.
The symptom described above is not affected by the message format, sending
format, or the "wrap text at X characters per line" setting.
When you reply to or forward a message, Outlook allows you to prefix each
line of text of the original message with a character, such as an angle
bracket (>). This is known as reply ticking.
To enable reply ticking, follow these steps:
For more information about using Internet e-mail, type "Internet e-mail" in the Office Assistant, click Search, and then click to view "About using Internet Mail."
