OL98: (IMO) HTML Mail Received from Notes Becomes Plain TextID: Q184373
|
When you send mail using Microsoft Outlook 98 as a client on a Lotus Notes Domino 4.5 POP, mail formatted as Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) arrives at the recipient as a plain text message containing the HTML code.
This behavior is caused by a problem in message handling on the Lotus Notes version 4.5 server. You can reproduce the same condition using Outlook Express and Netscape Messenger as clients.
Lotus has confirmed this to be a problem in version 4.5 of the Notes server. This problem was corrected in the 4.6 version.
Lotus Notes and Lotus Domino are manufactured by IBM, a vendor independent of Microsoft; we make no warranty, implied or otherwise, regarding this product's performance or reliability.
