In Microsoft Outlook 98, if you apply Automatic Formatting to a Task view, the option to change colors for Overdue and Completed tasks no longer affects this view.
To correct this problem, reset the view to it original default settings.
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Outlook 98.
1. On the View menu, point to Current View and click Define Views.
2. Click to select the View name of the problem view, then click Reset.
3. Click OK and Apply View.
The past due and completed tasks reflect the new colors. Additional query words: OL98
