OL98: Embedded Messages Blank If Dragged to New Message

SYMPTOMS

You receive a message that contains an embedded message; when you double-click the embedded message to read it, it is blank.


CAUSE

When composing the message, the sender dragged an existing message into the new message. The sender then opened the attached message and saved the new message. The message is sent, but the attached message is blank.


RESOLUTION

A supported fix that corrects this problem is now available from Microsoft, but it has not been fully regression tested and should be applied only to systems experiencing this specific problem.
