PPT2000: Demoting Slide Moves Text to Prior Slide

SUMMARY

While you are working in the PowerPoint Outline pane and you use TAB or the Demote icon on the Formatting or Outlining toolbar to demote a slide title, the title becomes an element of the slide before it.


MORE INFORMATION

If the prior slide has the Title slide layout applied to it when the following slide is demoted into it, the title text from the demoted slide will not be bulleted. Any text in the body of the demoted slide that was bulleted will stay bulleted in the subtitle placeholder.
