If you edit a FrontPage Web page in PowerPoint 2000, PowerPoint will remove FrontPage form controls from the page. However, the validation web component for forms is retained.

FrontPage <FORM> tags and controls are not retained in the HTML format of the imported Web page, as PowerPoint does not provide inline support for them. The validation web components are retained. This may cause some abnormal web browser behavior if this file is converted back to a Web page.
