ID: Q235643

The information in this article applies to:

SUMMARY

If you set up an online broadcast with a presentation that contains movies, inserted sounds, or sounds associated with transitions, none of these items will play during the broadcast.

Sounds associated with animations and narrations will function as expected.

MORE INFORMATION

The online broadcast feature does not support this function to reduce the overhead on memory and possible interference with the NetShow encoder during the broadcast. If you choose to View Previous Slides during a broadcast, you will have full access to these files, as they are coming from standard PowerPoint 2000 web pages. Both movies and sounds will play when this feature is enabled.
