PPT97: Can't Type Text Into OLE Object Placeholder

In Microsoft PowerPoint 97, if you create a slide that contains a placeholder for a specific type of OLE object (a graph, a Word table, an organization chart, a media clip, or a piece of clip art) and then try to type in that placeholder, nothing happens. If you create a slide that contains a generic object placeholder and then type into that placeholder, your text appears.

This behavior is different from PowerPoint 7.0. In PowerPoint 7.0, you can type text into any placeholder.
