PPT97: Shortcut Menu Different Between PowerPoint, Office Binder

SYMPTOMS

When you right-click a slide in a PowerPoint section in Microsoft Office Binder, a shortcut menu appears which includes two commands: Advance and Reverse. In contrast, when you right-click a slide during a PowerPoint 97 slide show, a shortcut menu appears which includes the following two commands: Next and Previous.

RESOLUTION

Although the terminology is different, when you click Advance or Next, you go to the next slide. When you click Reverse or Previous, you go back to the previous slide.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
