WD: Resizing Graph Object After Pressing CTRL+Z Causes Error

SYMPTOMS

If you insert a Microsoft Graph object into a Word document, press CTRL+Z on the keyboard to undo the edit while Microsoft Graph is active, and then try to resize the object, the following error message may appear:

   The graph object will be inserted; however, it may not display
   completely.

WORKAROUND

To remove the graph object from your file immediately after you have inserted it, follow these steps:

1. Click the document to remove focus from the graph object.

2. On the Edit menu, click Undo.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.

MORE INFORMATION

If you do not undo the insertion of the graph object and if you double- click the Microsoft Graph object, the following error message appears:

   Word cannot edit the Microsoft Graph 5.0.
