WD2000: Cannot Hide Nested Table

SYMPTOMS

When you try to hide a table, the table does not hide.

NOTE: The table remains visible in all views as well as print preview. The table also prints.

This problem occurs with either of the following:

To hide a table, do the following. (NOTE: This procedure does not work with a table nested inside a table or a table containing a nested table.)
Use the following steps to prevent a table from being seen or printed.

  1. With your mouse, click into the table you want to hide.


  2. On the Table menu, point to Select, and then click Table.


  3. On the Format menu, click Font.


  4. On the Font tab, select the Hidden check box, and then click OK.
