WD2000: Deleted Table Appears in Web Page with Track Changes

SYMPTOMS

When you have a document containing a table and:

• You turn on Track changes while editing.


-and-


• You turn off Highlight changes on screen.


-and-


• You delete the table.


-and-


• You view the document as a Web page (on the File menu, click Web Page Preview).

1. On the Tools menu, point to Track Changes and then click Highlight Changes.



2. Click to select the Track changes while editing check box.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, you can accept or reject changes before previewing or saving the document as a Web page. To accept or reject changes, on the Tools menu, point to Track Changes and then click Accept or Reject Changes.

For more information about tracking changes, click Microsoft Word Help on the Help menu, type "track changes" in the Office Assistant or the Answer Wizard, and then click Search to view the topics returned.

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
