WD2000: Setting FramesetBorderWidth Fails to Change Value

SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to set a frame page border width to a value less than .05 pt. (points) or greater than 1584 pt. (points) using the Visual Basic for Applications FramesetBorderWidth property, the frame page border width does not change and you do not receive an error message.


CAUSE

The frame border width measurement must be between 0.05 pt. and 1584 pt.

To set the FramesetBorderWidth property to zero using Visual Basic for Applications, you can achieve the same effect by turning off the displaying of frame page borders. For example, the following command line turns off the display of frame page borders:

ActiveWindow.ActivePane.Frameset.FrameDisplayBorders = False 


STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
