Microsoft Word for Windows version 2.0 does not provide built-in commands for Microsoft WordArt or Microsoft Equation Editor that you can assign to buttons on the toolbar. You can use the following macros to easily perform the individual functions.
To create the macro for WordArt, follow these steps:
1. On the Tools menu, click Macro.
2. In the Macro Name box, type a name for the macro (such as
InsertWordArt), and click Edit.
3. Type the following lines in the macro editing window:
Sub MAIN
InsertObject .Class = "WordArt"
End Sub
For the Equation Editor, follow steps 1-2 above, and type the
following line between the Sub MAIN and the End Sub lines in the macro
editing window:
InsertObject .Class = "Equation"
To assign the macro to a toolbar button, follow these steps:
1. On the Tools menu, click Options. From the Category box, select
Toolbar, and click Macros.
2. In the Context box, select either Global or Template, depending on
where you want to store the macro.
3. In the Commands box, select InsertWordArt, then select [space] to
create a new button.
4. In the Button box, select the button you want to represent the
macro. Click Change and then click Close.
