OL97: Display Specified Date in Outlook Calendar

SUMMARY

By default, when the Microsoft Outlook Calendar is activated, it displays the current date. However, you can use the Inspector object of an appointment to access the View menu and display the calendar with a date other than the current date.

The following sample Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications code automates Outlook from another program. It accesses the first appointment in the Calendar folder and uses it to display that date in the calendar.

NOTE: Be sure "Microsoft Outlook 8.0 Object Model" is selected in the References dialog box of the program that contains this code.
