FIX: Cannot Change from Bulleted List Styles Back to Normal

SYMPTOMS

When using the Paragraph Format drop-down list in Design view to change from Bulleted List back to Normal, no change occurs.


STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a bug in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.

Steps to Reproduce Behavior

  1. Open/create an HTML page containing at least one line of text.


  2. View the HTML toolbar (use the toolbar/menu area's shortcut menu).


  3. Place the cursor in a line of text and use the Paragraph Format drop-down on the HTML toolbar to change the line to Bulleted List. A bullet symbol appears at the beginning of the line.


  4. Use Paragraph Format to change back to Normal.
