SYMPTOMS

The Active Accessibility 1.2 Redistribution Kit (RDK) is not supported on Windows 98. If this RDK is run on Windows 98 with a Service Pack installed, it will attempt to reinstall the files contained in the Service Pack instead of the files contained in the RDK.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
