Can't Access Removable Media Disk in an MS-DOS Virtual Machine

SYMPTOMS

When you try to access a removable media drive from an MS-DOS Virtual Machine (VM) in Windows, your computer may stop responding (hang).


CAUSE

This issue can occur if the removable media is not inserted in the removable media drive when you try to access it.


RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, insert the removable media into the removable media drive and then restart your computer.
