SYMPTOMS

After you install Windows 98 Second Edition on a Gateway Destination XTV computer, you may experience any of the following symptoms:

• The DestiVu Web TV program may not function correctly.



• When you attempt to start DestiVu Web TV, you may receive the following error message:

  The A/V panel for this device is not configured properly to run DestiVu.

CAUSE

This issue can occur if the Atibt829.sys file is missing or damaged.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, contact Gateway to inquire about obtaining an update that resolves this issue.

The Atibt829.sys file is used to start DestiVu Web TV. When you install Windows 98 Second Edition, the Atibt829.sys file may be replaced with the Bt829.sys file.
