When you attempt to run Free Filter in Steinberg Cubase Virtual Studio Technology (VST) after you upgrade to Windows 98 Second Edition, you may receive the following error message:

This effect could not be installed.


RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, reinstall Free Filter, or contact Steinberg to inquire about the availability of a fix for this issue
