SYMPTOMS

When you start the Ftp.exe program in Windows 98, the program may appear to stop responding (hang).

CAUSE

This issue can occur if the SocksCap32 program is installed on your computer.

RESOLUTION

To work around this issue, wait until the Ftp.exe program finishes starting.
