NetMeeting Icons Remain After Uninstalling NetMeeting

SYMPTOMS

After you uninstall NetMeeting 3.0 using the Add/Remove Programs tool in Control Panel, the NetMeeting icons remain on the desktop and taskbar. The icons are removed from the Start menu.

RESOLUTION

To work around this issue, manually delete the icons from the desktop and taskbar.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
