Problems Opening .xif Files in Imaging for Windows

SYMPTOMS

When you use Imaging for Windows to open a color .xif file, the image may be displayed in black and white or grayscale, or may not be displayed at all.


RESOLUTION

To work around this problem, open the .xif file using a different image viewing program.


STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Imaging for Windows.
