MORE INFORMATION

Cardfile

If you install Windows 95 or Windows 98 over an existing installation of Windows or Windows for Workgroups version 3.1 or 3.11, the version of Cardfile included with your previous version of Windows is not removed from your hard disk and should function properly in Windows 95/98. If you did not install Windows 95 or Windows 98 over an existing Windows or Windows for Workgroups installation and you want to use Cardfile, you must expand the Cardfile.exe and Cardfile.hlp files from your original Windows or Windows for Workgroups disks or copy the files from a Windows or Windows for Workgroups-based computer.

You can also use Microsoft Schedule+ version 7.0 for Windows 95 to maintain a Contacts list that provides functionality similar to the functionality provided by Cardfile. However, Schedule+ 7.0 cannot import Cardfile (.crd) files.

NOTE: The version of Cardfile included with Microsoft Windows NT Server and Windows NT Workstation version 3.x is not compatible with Windows 95 or Windows 98.
