SUMMARY

BCD2IEEE is a file that includes FORTRAN source code to convert data in Binary Coded Decimal (BCD) floating point used in the DECMATH.LIB library provided with Microsoft FORTRAN versions 3.2, 3.3, and 3.31, and IEEE floating-point format used in the coprocessor and emulator libraries provided with subsequent versions of Microsoft FORTRAN.

This file has been removed from the Software Library but can be requested by calling Microsoft Product Support Services. The table below lists the files provided in BCD2IEEE.

   File Description
   ----------------------------------------------------------------

SDECCVT A FORTRAN function that converts the Binary Coded
                  Decimal floating-point format for single-precision
real numbers to IEEE floating-point format for
                  single-precision real numbers.

SDECTST.FOR A FORTRAN program to demonstrate using SDECCVT

DDECCVT A FORTRAN function that converts Binary Coded
                  Decimal floating-point format for double-precision
real numbers to IEEE floating-point format for
                  double-precision real numbers
