Margins Not Correct with HP 4si Printer in Windows NT 4.0 Service Pack 4

SYMPTOMS

When you print a job using the letter form on an Hewlett-Packard HP 4si printer from a computer running Windows NT 4.0 Service Pack 4, the print margins may be incorrect.


CAUSE

This problem occurs because the printable area for this printer and for the letter form was changed in Windows NT 4.0 Service Pack 4.


RESOLUTION

A supported fix that corrects this problem is now available from Microsoft, but it has not been fully regression tested and should be applied only to systems experiencing this specific problem. If you are not severely affected by this specific problem, Microsoft recommends that you wait for the next Windows NT 4.0 service pack that contains this fix.
