PRB: Error "No Open Help Files"

SYMPTOMS

Using the F1 key for help or selecting any item under the help menu results in the following message:

   No open help files

CAUSE

The Help Files List is set incorrectly. To verify this setting, choose Environment from the Options menu.

RESOLUTION

Set the Help Files List to the directory where the help files are located. Typically, the help files are located in:

   <Drive>:\<Directory>\HELP

where <Drive> and <Directory> are the disk drive and directory where Fortran is installed. For a default installation, this is:

   C:\FORTRAN\HELP

MORE INFORMATION

In FORTRAN PowerStation, the improved error message is

   There is no help path. Do you want to update this information?

If you select yes, you are prompted for the location of the help files.
