BUG: No Printer Installed Crashes Report or Label Wizard

SYMPTOMS

When you are using the Report or Label Wizard without a printer driver installed, the following error message occurs.

   FoxPro Error:
   Line Number: 83
   Program: GETWINWID
   Error: Printer not Ready.
   Source:   ...

This error occurs only when you are modifying existing reports or labels with the Report or Label Wizard. The error does not occur when you are creating a new report or label with the wizards.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in FoxPro version 2.6 for Windows. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
