MORE INFORMATION

Steps to Reproduce Problem

To reproduce this problem, issue the following commands in the FoxPro command window. This will use the customer table that is normally in the tutorial directory.

   USE tutorial\customer IN 0
   DEFINE WINDOW one AT 0,0 SIZE 10,10
   DEFINE WINDOW two AT 2,2 SIZE 10,10
   ACTIVATE WINDOW one
   ACTIVATE WINDOW two
   SAVE WINDOW ALL TO MEMO notes
   CLEAR WINDOWS
   ?SYS(1016)     && Note this number
   RESTORE WINDOW ALL FROM MEMO notes
   CLEAR WINDOWS
   ?SYS(1016)     && Note this number.

The second number noted should be larger than the first. Repeating the following series of commands causes the amount of memory used by objects as reported by SYS(1016) to get ever larger with each iteration until out of memory:

   RESTORE WINDOW ALL FROM MEMO notes
   CLEAR WINDOWS
   ?SYS(1016)     && Note this number.
