SUMMARY

In dBASE, the LIST HISTORY and DISPLAY HISTORY commands display the list of statements run previously. FoxPro ignores both commands because the FoxPro Command window provides this functionality. To view past statements, scroll up through the Command window.

Neither the online Help nor the printed documents mention that the LIST HISTORY and DISPLAY HISTORY commands are ignored in FoxPro.

MORE INFORMATION

1. From the Window menu, choose Command. This brings the Command window to

the front (it has the focus).

2. From the Edit menu, choose Select All.

3. From the Edit menu, choose Copy.

4. Open a window for the file you want to contain the past statements,

and then choose Paste from the Edit menu.

5. Save the file.
