SUMMARY

The Microsoft Graph application packaged with FoxPro for Windows does not come with documentation specific to the use of Graph within FoxPro applications.

You can use Graph to produce graphical information in both screens and reports in FoxPro.

MORE INFORMATION

To use Graph, open a table in the current work area with the following traits:

If a table with these traits is in the active work area, a call to cross-tab can be made using the following command:

   DO (_GENXTAB) WITH 'Query'
If there is a resultant table (for example, the above table is "Query"), as produced in entry point 1, entry point 1 may be skipped; in which case, the call will go directly to Graph. With the resultant table as the current work area, the command below calls Graph:

   DO (_GENGRAPH)
If you save the graph, it is stored to QRYGRAPH.DBF by default. Graphs can be appended to this file. QRYGRAPH.DBF contains the graph(s) as OLE objects and requires that they be recalculated each time the data changes. However, they can be displayed in reports and screens using the normal OLE picture-display techniques.
