How to Determine Macintosh System Information

To determine system information about your Macintosh, such as the system version and available memory, do the following:

1. If the Finder (a Macintosh) isn't displayed as the Application menu icon

   (the top-right corner of the screen), choose Finder from the Application
   menu.

2. From the Apple menu (the top-left corner of the screen) choose About
   This Macintosh.

The top half of the dialog box displayed provides the following information: The bottom half of this dialog box displays the amount of memory allocated, and used, by the system and each application that is running.

Each row of this area lists a running application (including the system), followed by the amount of memory allocated to that application. To the right of the memory amount is a bar that graphically represents allocated memory. The amount of the bar that is black represents the amount of the allocated memory currently in use by the application.

NOTE: FoxPro for Macintosh requires System 7.0 or later.
