SUMMARY

Knowledge Base article Q137366 states that "Screens with a bordertype of System, Panel, or Double cannot be restored after being minimized." There is, however, a method that allows the user to circumvent this limitation under Windows 95 and Windows NT 4.0.

MORE INFORMATION

The following steps let window that has a bordertype of System, Panel, or Double be restored after it has been minimized:

1. Create a Screen and place a field on it.

2. In the Screen's Setup Code, add the following line of code:

      #WCLAUSES NOZOOM GROW

3. Generate the Screen and in the Generate Screen dialog box, click the
More button and make sure the "Define Windows" check box is selected.

4. Execute the screen, minimize it, and note that it may now be restored.

NOTE: Click anywhere on the title bar of the minimized screen, and the buttons appear and let the window be restored.
