PRB: ACTIVATE WINDOW Causes "Syntax Error" Message

SYMPTOMS

The ACTIVATE WINDOW command generates a "Syntax Error" message when the window name starts with a number.

RESOLUTION

To avoid this behavior, make sure your window names do not start with numbers.

Steps to Reproduce Behavior

1. Create an quick report. 2. Save the report as 123.FRX. 3. In the Command window, type the following commands:

      x="123.FRX"
      MODIFY REPORT 123
      * now click on the command window to switch window focus
      ACTIVATE WINDOW (X)

The DEFINE WINDOW command will not let you define a window with a number as the first character. You will receive a "Syntax Error" message when attempting to do this.
