PRB: Can't Move from Character to Character in BROWSE or GET

The information in this article applies to:

• Microsoft FoxPro for Windows, versions 2.5 and 2.5a

SYMPTOMS

Fields will be selected on entry when you are navigating with the TAB key and arrow keys in a GET or BROWSE cell when KEYCOMP is set to WINDOWS.

Because of this behavior, the cursor can't move from character to character within the GET or BROWSE cell.

RESOLUTION

To navigate within the cells, set KEYCOMP to DOS.
