PRB: SET READBORDER OFF Does Not Affect 3-D GET Fields

SYMPTOMS

The SET READBORDER OFF command does not affect three-dimensional (3-D) GET fields.

CAUSE

A 3-D field is created by applying shading slightly below and to the right of the GET field border. The third parameter of the SIZE clause on the @ ... GET statement controls the size of this shading.

If the border did not appear, a 3-D field could not be created.

Steps to Reproduce Behavior

In the Command window, type the following commands:

   CLEAR
   SET READBORDER OFF
   ACTIVATE WINDOW SCREEN
   getfld1= "ABCDEFG"
   getfld2 = "ABCDEFG"
   @ 1,5 GET getfld1
   @ 5,5 GET getfld2 PICTURE "@3K"

Note that the 3-D GET field has a border, even though READBORDER has been set to OFF.
