SUMMARY

The following error message

   Duplicate redirection or login to network node...

occurs on a LANtastic network if users are logged in on more than one workstation and the network is not configured to accommodate multiple users.

To check the configuration of the workstations, do the following:

1. Check the version numbers on all of the computers by typing "redir"

   (without the quotation marks) at the MS-DOS prompt. Each computer
   should be running the 2.xxU or 2.xxG version to login more than two
   times.

2. On each workstation that will be logging into more than the default

   number of two servers, add the command "logins=<n>" (where <n> is
   the number of logins that will be done from that workstation).

3. If a user is logging in more than one time using the same username

   and password, specify the number of concurrent logins for that
   user.

4. Invoke the NET_MGR program and select the "Server Startup

   Parameters" area. Check the maximum users parameter; it should be
   set to the number of users that are expected to log in to the
   server.
