FP97: Black & White, No Image Printing to Some Color Printers

SYMPTOMS

In FrontPage Editor, when you print a Web page that contains color images, the color images are not printed or they print in black and white.

CAUSE

This problem occurs when you print to some color printers, such as the following printers:

   Epson Stylus Color II 
   Lexmark Optra C


RESOLUTION

Contact the printer manufacturer for an updated printer driver.

WORKAROUND

Print the Web page from another program. For example, click Preview In Browser on the File menu, and then print the page from your Web browser.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft FrontPage. We are researching this problem and will post new information here as it becomes available.
