SYMPTOMS

When you use the logical operators "and" and "or" as part of your search text in a Microsoft FrontPage 97 WebBot Search component, you receive the following error:

This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut
down. INETSW95 caused an invalid page fault in module KERNEL32.DLL.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs when you specify more than one logical operator in the search string. For example, this behavior occurs when you specify either of the following search criteria:

   - (Jack and Jill) or Joe

     -or-

   - mike or MIKE and John

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, use only one logical operator in your search.
