SYMPTOMS

Inbox Assistant rules do not work if you are using a mail account based on the Internet Mail Access Protocol (IMAP).

RESOLUTION

If your mail provider supports the use of the Post Office Protocol (POP3), configure your account using POP3. This allows Inbox Assistant rules to function normally.
